Accra: The Chief Imam, Alhaji Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Shaributu, visited the Head Office of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Company (BOST) in Accra to extend his congratulations to the newly appointed Managing Director, Mr. Afetsi Awoonor, who is considered a son to the Chief Imam.
According to Ghana News Agency, the visit highlighted the deep bond between the families of the Chief Imam and Mr. Awoonor, as Alhaji Dr. Shaributu was a long-time friend of Mr. Awoonor's late father, Professor Kofi Awoonor. During the visit, the Chief Imam expressed his congratulations to Mr. Awoonor, acknowledging the significant honor and responsibility that his new role entails.
Mr. Awoonor has made history as the youngest-ever appointee to the position of Managing Director at BOST. The Chief Imam emphasized the considerable trust and confidence placed in him by President John Dramani Mahama, stressing the expectations from both the administration and the Ghanaian public. He urged Mr. Awoonor and the BOST Management team to fulfill the expectations of Ghanaians and the President.
