Accra: As Ghanaians celebrate 60 years of their national currency, President John Dramani Mahama has commended the Bank of Ghana (BoG) for reaffirming its commitment to monetary stability and economic prosperity.
According to Ghana News Agency, the President in a statement emphasized that this commitment aligns with his Resetting Ghana Agenda. He highlighted the importance of a stable currency over a strong Ghana Cedi, underscoring that his administration's efforts focus on ensuring a stable Ghana Cedi to foster a conducive environment for business and investment, while maintaining stable food prices to benefit the people of Ghana.
