Anloga: The chiefs and people of Fiaxor in the Anloga District of the Volta Region have expressed hope for development as the area welcomes its first female District Chief Executive (DCE), Ms. Sandra Seyram Kpedor.
According to Ghana News Agency, Ms. Kpedor secured the required two-thirds of the votes from the district's Assembly members, confirming her nomination as DCE. This position tasks her with overseeing the day-to-day executive and administrative functions of the Assembly.
In a press release, Major (Rtd) Paul Korku Amegah, Chairman of the Fiaxor Youth Association, congratulated Ms. Kpedor on her appointment and expressed optimism about the positive impact of her leadership. He highlighted the significance of her appointment, noting that it represents a milestone not only for Anloga but for the nation as a whole. He emphasized that Ms. Kpedor's leadership could potentially transform sectors such as roads, education, healthcare, and agriculture, ensuring equitable national development for the Anloga District.
The release concluded with a wish for a successful tenure, expressing hope that Ms. Kpedor's vision would be realized for the benefit of the district.
