Adaklu Kodzobi D/A Basic School Honours Outstanding Pupils

Adaklu kodzobi: The Adaklu Kodzobi District Assembly Basic School in the Adaklu district has organised an awards ceremony to honour its outstanding pupils. In all, 10 pupils from Kindergarten one to Basic eight were presented with a citation and a parcel each.

According to Ghana News Agency, the awardees include Apedahoun Samuel and Ati Elisha from Kindergarten one and two, Atitso Emmanuel from Basic one, Dotse Uriah from Basic two, Dzansi Emmanuella from Basic three, and Fianyo Esther from Basic four. The other awardees are Atitsogbe Flora from Basic five, Meble Yokabed from Basic six, Gbeku Christopher from Basic seven, and Agbeley Joshua from Basic eight.

Togbe Dzegblade IV, the Chief of the community, addressed concerns over the youth's involvement in hard drugs, advising pupils to avoid such habits. He dispelled the myth that drugs aid learning, warning that they could harm future prospects. Togbe Dzegblade urged pupils to focus on their studies during the holidays and respect their parents. He also commended the teachers and staff for their dedication and promised his support.

Mr. Charles Kugbeadzor, the Headteacher of the school, encouraged parents to provide necessary educational materials to help their wards enhance academic performance. He assured continued efforts from the teaching staff to guide pupils towards academic success and responsible adulthood.

Mr. Seth Soglo, the Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association, outlined upcoming development projects for the school. These include installing shutters for classroom blocks, constructing a fence wall around the facility, and acquiring a poly tank for water storage. He appealed to parents to contribute to these initiatives.
