Kete-Krachi: The Kete-Krachi cluster of World Vision has made a donation to vulnerable children in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region. The donation includes bicycles, clothing, school bags, pens, and other essential items aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and supporting underprivileged communities.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Augustine Nyaaba, Cluster Manager, emphasized the importance of education and mobility in a child's development, stating that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. The bicycles are expected to significantly impact the lives of children who often walk long distances to school, enabling them to attend classes more regularly and participate in extracurricular activities.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi West, Mr. Prosper Addo, expressed gratitude to World Vision for their ongoing commitment, highlighting the collaboration between government and non-governmental organizations. He noted that the donation will provide much-needed support to children, promoting physical activity, independence, and access to education.
The MCE said the donation is expected to alleviate some financial burdens faced by families in the Krachi cluster, ensuring that children have the resources they need to succeed academically. Speaking at the event, he underscores the importance of partnerships in supporting vulnerable children and promoting education in underprivileged communities.
