Accra: VFS Global has announced its investment in advanced technology solutions aimed at simplifying cross-border mobility for individuals seeking visa services.
According to Ghana News Agency, VFS Global is positioning itself as a technology-driven company, focusing on secure and efficient processes, market offerings, and advanced technologies, including AI and analytics.
Mr. Alok Singhal, Head of Sub Saharan Africa at VFS Global, highlighted the ease and convenience now available to customers applying for visas at the company's state-of-the-art facility in Accra. Operational since July 2024, this facility provides visa services for 15 countries from a centralized location, enhancing the customer experience for outbound travelers from Ghana.
Singhal emphasized that the Accra facility is equipped with high-security controls and ample parking space and is managed by professional staff trained to ensure secure and time-efficient processing of entry permit requirements. The facility also offers a comfortable environment for customers to submit their visa applications.
As part of VFS Global's commitment to service excellence, the Accra facility reflects the company's capability to meet the growing demand for outbound travel and visa services from Ghana. The facility features three Premium Lounge facilities for customers applying for visas to Italy, Schengen destinations, and the UK.
VFS Global has also introduced services such as Visa At Your Doorstep and On-Demand Mobile Visa, allowing customers to submit their applications from their preferred locations. Additionally, the facility offers value-added services like form-filling assistance and prime-time service for application submission outside regular business hours.
For UK visa customers, an option to retain their passports while applying, known as the Keep My Passport While Applying service, is also available, adding further convenience to the application process.
