Sekondi-takoradi: The Twyford Ghana Ceramics Company Limited, a producer of ceramic tiles in West Africa, has extended its support to two key institutions in the Western Region through significant donations. The company made contributions to the Western Naval Command and the Shama Municipal Command of the Ghana National Fire Service.
According to Ghana News Agency, the Western Naval Command received tiles to aid in the renovation of its Cenotaph. The Shama Municipal GNFS was presented with a cheque for GHS 2,000 to support fire education initiatives, demonstrating Twyford Ghana's commitment to community development.
Mr. David Wei, Business Manager of Twyford Ghana, emphasized the importance of the donations as a tribute to fallen heroes and recognition of the bravery of serving officers. "We stand with the Navy to remember the fallen and salute the bravery of all serving officers. Together, we honour the past and build for the future," he stated.
The representatives from the receiving institutions expressed their appreciation for Twyford Ghana's ongoing support, highlighting the company's role in enhancing safety awareness and fostering community growth in the region.
