Reverend Dr. Dzanku Urges Ghanaians to Respect Transition Rules

He expressed concern over the actions of a few individuals who have engaged in these clandestine activities under the cover of darkness, labeling them as unacceptable.



Rev. Dzanku highlighted that significant public funds have been invested in erecting structures for various uses beneficial to the country. He insisted that it is inappropriate for any individual or group to destroy such structures, whether they belong to an individual or the state. He advocated for the perpetrators of these crimes to be identified and subjected to the full extent of the law to deter others from similar actions.



The Reverend noted that these incidents have been recurring since the 2016 general elections when party foot soldiers acted without rebuke from the authorities, who appeared indifferent to such behavior. This lack of action from the authorities, he suggested, may have implicitly endorsed such activities.



Rev. Dr. Dzanku called on the authorities to address these issues promptly to prevent them from becoming a negative tradition in the country. He urged the citizens to be governed by laws, allowing the country’s institutions to function effectively. He encouraged individuals to let their conscience guide them toward actions that contribute to the nation’s progress and development.
