Tema: Reverend Ernest Quaye, the Resident Pastor of the City Refuge Temple of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI), has encouraged Christians going through challenges to pray fervently to break through and advance in life. He reiterated that the effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man avails much; stating that prayer would enable Christians to overcome hindrances, break chains, and align themselves with God's will.
According to Ghana News Agency, Rev Quaye gave the advice in his sermon on Sunday at the Maranatha Assembly of GCCI in Tema. Speaking on the theme of the GCCI Maranatha Assembly's 40-Day Fasting and Prayers, dubbed 'Breaking the Barriers of Christlikeness, Discipleship and Church Planting in GCCI', Rev Quaye underscored that certain things in life could only be achieved through the power of fasting and prayers.
He encouraged Christians to make prayer a continuous lifestyle, not just a momentary act. He advised Christians to be persistent in prayer, trusting that God hears and answers prayers in his own time beautifully.
