Tamale: Prudential Bank, Tamale Branch has donated GHS10,000 to the Kukuo Laststop Jummah Mosque in Tamale to support Muslims in the area in commemoration of this year's Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Ghana News Agency, the three-member delegation led by Mr. Sumaila Mahama, the Branch Manager, made the donation to the Mosque through the Chief of Wurishie, Chief Adam Lansah, and the Imam of the Mosque, Adam Nayi Alhassan, at a ceremony in Tamale. Mr. Mahama, presenting the cheque on behalf of the Bank, emphasized the Bank's appreciation for its relationship with Muslims in the country and described the donation as a token of gratitude.
Chief Adam Lansah expressed his gratitude to the Bank for the donation, stating that it would be utilized for the benefit of all. He encouraged the Mosque community to consider Prudential Bank for their banking needs. The Imam also offered prayers for the branch, the Bank, and its management in recognition of their kind gesture.
The Branch Manager was accompanied by Inusah Yakubu, a Relationship Officer, and Baba Mohammed Saani, Deputy Operations Manager, from the Tamale branch. During the Ramadan season, Prudential Bank demonstrated its support and solidarity with Muslim communities and customers by making a series of donations. The Bank distributed care packages, including breakfast items, to 100 valued Retail and 30 Corporate Muslim customers across selected branches to support them during the fast.
