Takoradi: President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to visit the Western Region for a one-day working visit on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. During his visit, the President will initiate the Sekondi-Takoradi to Cape Coast highway dualization project, which is part of the BIG PUSH Programme.According to Ghana News Agency, the Western Regional Communications Bureau of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) announced this visit in a press release signed by Mr. Richard Ernest Kirk-Mensah, the Regional Communications Officer. The President's itinerary includes inspecting the ongoing expansion works at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital and visiting other ongoing health projects in the region.
