Accra: Police Constable Elizabeth Alonsi has been detained and interdicted for allegedly pouring hot water on a female colleague during an argument. A police news brief stated that the suspect is in custody and will undergo internal disciplinary measures as well as legal processes.

According to Ghana News Agency, the victim, who sustained injuries to her face and back, is in stable condition and receiving medical care and support.
