Peace Hyde Discusses Business Partnerships at UBA Business Series in Lagos

Lagos: Ms Peace Hyde, Africa's leading media maven, participated as a panelist in the second United Bank of Africa (UBA) Business Series held in Lagos, Nigeria. The event focused on empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to build strong businesses capable of driving lasting impact across the continent.

According to Ghana News Agency, the quarterly Business Series, themed 'Stronger Together: Building Powerful Business Partnerships for Progress,' is part of UBA's broader commitment to business development and financial inclusion. The event gathered seasoned business leaders, industry experts, and successful entrepreneurs to share insights on how collaboration and strategic alliances can help MSMEs overcome growth barriers.

Ms Hyde, named by GQ Magazine South Africa as Africa's architect of the unscripted television revolution, is also the creator and executive producer of the acclaimed Netflix reality TV series, "Young, Famous and African." During her speech, she emphasized the importance of authenticity and integrity in today's media-driven economy. Her successful journey includes three seasons of the Netflix series, which won the South African Film and Television Awards for 2024.

Additionally, Ms Hyde has been shortlisted as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. She urged young creatives to understand the importance of protecting their intellectual property and to remain bold and authentic when sharing their vision with the world.
