Over 30 Community Police and 13 Fire Service Assistants Pass Out in Atwima Nwabiagya South

Accra: A total of 31 Community Police and 13 Fire Service Assistants, recruited under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region have passed out.

According to Ghana News Agency, the recruits, comprising eight females and five males for the Fire Service Assistants, and 18 males and 12 females for the Community Police Assistants, were selected from various communities within the Municipality. They are scheduled to be dispatched to their respective duty stations next week.

During the passing out ceremony, Mr. Wisdom Osei Boamah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), emphasized the importance of integrity and hard work at a young age to build a good reputation for future opportunities. He advised the recruits to perform their duties diligently to gain valuable experience and earn the trust of their superiors for potential future engagements.

Mr. Boamah also encouraged the recruits to prepare themselves both practically and academically to enhance their prospects for future recruitment into security services. He urged them to be committed, submissive to their commanders, and respectful to their seniors through humility. He praised them for enduring the training sessions and encouraged them to carry the discipline they learned into their practical lives.

Mr. Abdul Aziz Muawiyah, the Municipal YEA Director, called on the youth in the area, particularly graduates, to remain vigilant for the next recruitment exercise. He highlighted the upcoming recruitment modules, including Arabic Teaching and National Insurance Commission.
