Wenchi: A total of 2,351 candidates are participating in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region, Mr. David Baffoe, the Wenchi Municipal Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service, has reported.
According to Ghana News Agency, the candidates include 1,145 boys and 1,206 girls from 72 public and 18 private schools. Mr. Baffoe stated in an interview that the examinations are being conducted across 10 centers within the municipality.
The examination process is being monitored by 80 invigilators, 10 supervisors, and seven assistant supervisors to ensure fairness and orderliness. Mr. Baffoe advised the candidates to avoid engaging in any examination malpractices and encouraged them to remain confident in their abilities.
