Accra: The 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) witnessed some fashion 'madness' on the red carpet. This year's red carpet, powered in partnership with GTP, received a massive lift as it was moved somewhat away from the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
According to Ghana News Agency, Hiplife legend Okyeame Kwame stole the spotlight on the red carpet with his choice of costume. Okyeame Kwame's attire, which featured Pharaoh-like regalia and a lengthy crown, was eye-catching and drew a lot of attention from photographers on the floor. "With this outfit, I am trying to remind young Africans that we come from royalty and civilization, and that is what this look represents," he said in an interview on the red carpet.
Actress Fella Makafui made a notable appearance on the red carpet with her light curvy costume. Her presence on the red carpet was marked by her fashion sense and makeup, as she wore elegant, shimmering outfits.
Also present was Medikal, who wore dark trousers and a black mask that completely covered his face. Reigning Highlife Artiste of the Year Fameye was seen in a suit jacket, red loafers, and striped trousers. Beeztrap KOTM, the recently crowned New Artiste of the Year, showcased a daring ensemble with his pink suit jacket that matched his trousers.
