Accra: The National Technical Working Committee has been empowered to ensure that GITFiC's Agenda 2031 is effectively implemented and has a significant impact on the continent and the Global South.According to Ghana News Agency, the committee comprises senior officers from several key government bodies, including the National Development Planning Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Ministry of Education, Bank of Ghana, and the Information Services Department. The committee's task was outlined during its fourth meeting, which featured a special guest from the African Development Bank, who was sent from the headquarters to explore strategic partnerships with GITFiC's Global Debt Initiative and the AfCFTA Implementation Support Initiatives.The National Technical Working Committee is also playing a crucial role in organizing the 9th GITFiC on the 2nd Global Debt Initiative and the inaugural GITFiC-AfCFTA Tertiary Students' Congress, sched uled for October 29th to November 1st, 2025. The committee is chaired by the Chief Executive of GITFiC and co-chaired by the National Development Planning Commission.
