Accra: A delegation from the National School Feeding Programme has undertaken a working visit to assess the progress of the programme in the Oti region. Madam Paulina Magyam, the Oti Regional Women Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and also the School Feeding Programme Coordinator of the region, welcomed the delegation and led them to tour some schools in the region.
According to Ghana News Agency, the team engaged the heads of the schools they toured, discussing the impact, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. The visit was to evaluate the programme's effectiveness in providing nutritious meals to students, promoting education, and supporting local economies.
The team mentioned that their findings would inform future decisions for the programme. Madam Magyam pledged her support and commitment to the success of the programme and hoped that every child would be fed with nutritious and healthy meals.
