Sunyani: Miss Millicent Yeboah Amankwaa, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Municipality, has announced an incentive package for the invigilators in the area as this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) progresses in the constituency.
According to Ghana News Agency, the MP pledged to appreciate each of the 112 invigilators with GHC500 after the five-day examination period. She stated that this gesture aims to inspire and acknowledge the hard work of the invigilators. Furthermore, she urged affluent individuals and corporate organizations to aid the government in improving the working conditions of employees.
Ms. Amankwaa also advised the BECE candidates to avoid all forms of examination malpractices that could result in the cancellation or withholding of their results. She expressed hope that the examination would proceed without incidents in the area.
The MP emphasized her dedication to supporting the implementation of government policies and programs related to education in the constituency, aiming for enhanced learning and teaching outcomes.
