LeKMA Delegates Revenue Collection to AMG Visionary Consulting Group

Accra: The Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly (LeKMA) has engaged the AMG Visionary Consulting Group Limited, a financial solution company, to take over the collection of revenue within the municipality. This development was announced during the launch of a 24-hour revenue mobilisation and public-private partnership, aimed at improving efficiency, reducing leakages, and increasing internally generated funds.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Israel Adjetey Otchwenmah, the Ledzokuku Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), stated that engaging private entities to handle public revenue collection is part of a broader strategy to support and sustain a continuously operating economy, both day and night. He emphasized that extending operational hours and ensuring the availability of essential services would allow businesses to fully utilize nighttime opportunities, thus boosting productivity, creating jobs, and stimulating continuous economic activity.

Mr. Humphrey Abbey Quaye, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AMG Visionary Consulting Group Limited, noted that this initiative would streamline the assembly's revenue collection processes. It will create a database for feedback between the assembly and the public, reduce administrative burdens, and ensure targeted responses to the community's needs. Mr. Quaye added that the partnership was set to unlock new efficiencies and the full potential of the assembly's local revenue streams, enhancing revenue collection through a 24-hour system that ensures convenience and accessibility for the citizens.
