Krachi West MCE Leads Clean-Up Exercise to Enhance Health Care

Krachi west: Mr Addo Prosper, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi West in the Oti Region, has led a clean-up exercise aimed at promoting quality health care delivery in the municipality. He emphasized the government's commitment to making cleanliness a national priority.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Prosper announced plans to establish a monthly clean-up exercise throughout the municipality and its surrounding communities. He commended the President Mahama administration for its dedication to ensuring a cleaner and healthier Ghana. The MCE highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean environment and urged residents to avoid open defecation and indiscriminate dumping of refuse.

He noted that such practices expose communities to the risk of cholera, typhoid, malaria, and other preventable diseases. Mr Prosper encouraged households to regularly tidy their homes and surroundings, stressing the significance of cleanliness in safeguarding public health and enhancing the quality of life in Krachi West. He appealed to residents to embrace cleanliness as a way of life.
