Ketu north: Mr. Eric Edem Agbana, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Ketu North, has engaged National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives and branch leaders to strengthen grassroots participation. The meetings, held on August 28 and 29, took place in various communities including Teyikope, Dekpor Dome, Afife, Tadzewu, Penyi, Dzodze, Weta, and Ehii, and were also used to discuss ongoing development projects in the constituency.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Agbana addressed participants by providing updates on parliamentary business and development interventions, emphasizing his commitment to servant leadership. He stated, "Resources may be limited, but my focus is on touching lives, transforming communities, and empowering our people. This journey is bigger than any one individual-it is about what we can achieve together as a people."
As part of his development drive, the MP donated 15 polytanks, each with a capacity of 5,000 litres, to be distributed and installed across selected communities to improve access to potable water. He expressed appreciation to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Rev. Martin Amenaki, Constituency Chairman, former MCE Mr. Kofi Lawson, and NDC executives at both constituency and branch levels for their continuous support in advancing the developmental agenda of Ketu North.
Participants described the meetings as an opportunity for open dialogue between leadership and the grassroots, noting that the engagement reinforced unity, strengthened party structures, and renewed commitment towards the socio-economic progress of the constituency.
