Islamic Mission Secretariat Donates Essential Items to Nyinahini Government Hospital

Nyinahini: The Women's Wing of the Islamic Mission Secretariat (IMS) has made a significant donation to the Nyinahini Government Hospital, located in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region. This gesture includes the provision of waste bins, tissue papers, bags of washing powder, and various food items such as rice, plantains, and yams.

According to Ghana News Agency, Hajia Halima Frimpomaa, the First Vice President of the IMS, explained that this donation is part of the activities planned for the 27th Annual Women's Conference of the Wing, currently taking place in Otaakrom within the district. She emphasized the importance of charity in Islam, which encourages helping the vulnerable, including orphans, the poor, the needy, and the sick.

The three-day conference, themed "The Role of a Muslim Woman in Nation Building through Commitment," seeks to highlight the contributions of Muslim women to society. Mr. Joseph Baba, the Estate Officer at the Nyinahini Government Hospital, expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that the items would greatly assist the facility and called for continued support.

The donors also visited various hospital wards to offer prayers for the patients, wishing them a speedy recovery.
