Accra: Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim, the Chief of the Wangara Community in the Ashanti Region, has extended his deepest condolences to the Government of Ghana and the families of victims of the recent helicopter crash that claimed the lives of government officials and military officers.
According to Ghana News Agency, Chief Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim described the incident as a 'great national tragedy' and a painful loss not only to the bereaved families but to the entire nation. He emphasized that the victims died in the line of duty and should be remembered for their service, commitment, and sacrifice to the country.
The statement from the Wangara Chief expressed that the incident is not only a loss to the families and loved ones of the departed but also a significant loss to the nation. The selfless service of the victims in the line of duty will be remembered and honored.
Chief Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim assured the bereaved families of the thoughts and prayers of the entire Wangara Community in the Ashanti Region. He prayed that Allah grants the departed eternal rest and strengthens their families during this difficult time. He also called for unity among Ghanaians, emphasizing the importance of compassion, solidarity, and mutual support in the face of such a tragedy.
