Berekum: Apostle Patrick Yeboah Afari, the Founder and Leader of the Spirit of God Healing Church in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region, has sympathised with the bereaved families of the recent military helicopter crash. He urged Ghanaians in general to humbly heed to the prophecies from the Ministers of God, seek spiritual guidance, and protect themselves against impending calamities.
According to Ghana News Agency, the late Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the Minister of Defence, and Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, together with six others, died in the crash, which happened in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Berekum, Apostle Afari urged the clergy to pray for the nation persistently, asking particularly those men of God who received those calamitous prophecies to also endeavour to pray to stop them from happening. He emphasized that "God reveals to redeem," and stressed the importance of humility and seeking spiritual guidance to prevent such events.
Apostle Afari admitted that though some men of God had swayed, that was not justification for the nation or individuals to disrespect and disregard prophecies. He cautioned that the nation could face serious consequences until the declining respect for men of God and the disregard of prophecies are stopped.
