Government’s Directive on Prophecies Welcomed by Pastor

Tema: Pastor Edward Anderson, Founder of the Healing School of the Bible, has expressed support for the government's recent directive that mandates prophets to submit prophecies of national significance for review before making them public.

According to Ghana News Agency, this directive was announced by Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations, Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, following a helicopter crash that resulted in eight fatalities. The directive specifically targets prophecies related to political leaders, governance, national security, and public stability.

Pastor Anderson emphasized that this measure would encourage responsibility among prophets, prevent public panic, and reduce exploitation by those delivering false prophecies. He highlighted that divine revelations should lead to redemption and should be approached with prayer and decency. He urged Christians to delve into scripture to better discern authentic messages from God.

Furthermore, Pastor Anderson called on the government to involve religious leaders in discussions about the importance of maintaining order within the prophetic community. He advocated for unity in prayer for the nation and its leaders, emphasizing the need for a collaborative approach to ensuring national stability and spiritual integrity.
