Adaklu torda: A four-year-old boy, Cephas Worfeli Vinyo, is reported missing at Adaklu Torda in the Adaklu district of the Volta Region. Mr Belove Akpalu, Assemblyman for Adaklu Torda Electoral Area, disclosed this information, stating that the incident occurred on 20th August, 2025.
According to Ghana News Agency, the boy accompanied his parents to the farm to harvest corn on the day he went missing. While the parents were busy with the harvest, Cephas and his siblings were tasked with transporting the corn back to their home. During this task, the children grew tired and decided to rest at the outskirts of their home.
The siblings later left Cephas to fetch water from the house, but upon their return, he was nowhere to be found. Despite numerous efforts to locate him, the search has yielded no results so far.
Mr Akpalu confirmed that the incident has been reported to the Adaklu Waya District Police. A police source at the Adaklu District Police Headquarters verified that a report of a missing child was filed. Although no arrests have been made, the police are committed to exhausting all possible avenues in their search for the missing boy.
