Kadjebi: Madam Alberta Mansah Klokpa, a former student of Kadjebi R. C Junior High School (JHS) in the Oti Region, has made a significant contribution to her former school by donating sanitary pads to the students. This initiative was part of the activities for the 2025 World Menstrual Hygiene Day.
According to Ghana News Agency, the presentation of the sanitary pads was Madam Klokpa's way of contributing to the well-being of young girls, emphasizing that the state cannot address every need on its own. During the handover, she encouraged the students to avoid premarital sex, focus on their studies, and steer clear of negative influences, aiming to guide them towards becoming responsible adults.
World Menstrual Hygiene Day, observed every year on May 28, focuses on raising awareness about menstrual health and hygiene. The day highlights the importance of proper menstrual hygiene management for everyone.
