Oti region: The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has appointed Mr. Eric Gidisu as its new Regional Director for the Oti Region. The appointment is expected to boost entrepreneurship and innovation in the region, as Mr. Gidisu brings his expertise and experience to the role.
According to Ghana News Agency, as Regional Director, Mr. Gidisu will oversee the implementation of NEIP's programmes and initiatives in the Oti Region, working closely with stakeholders to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and promote economic development. The appointment is seen as a strategic move to drive economic growth and job creation in the region, and stakeholders are optimistic about the impact of Mr. Gidisu's leadership on the local business community.
The newly appointed NEIP head, Mr. Gidisu, has expressed his appreciation to the Oti Regional Minister, Mr. John Kwadwo Gyapong, and regional executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the opportunity to serve the region. He expressed his commitment to working tirelessly to support the development of the Oti Region.
Mr. Seth Kumah, a former Assembly member aspirant of Kparekpare Electoral Area, congratulated Mr. Gidisu on his appointment, stating that the youth wings were proud of his hard work and perseverance.
