Dzodze: Mr. Eric Edem Agbana, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North, is set to host the third edition of his Quarterly Accountability Series on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Dzodze Penyi. This event underscores his commitment to transparency and participatory governance, offering a platform for constituents to receive an account of his performance and contributions.
According to Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr. Agbana stated that the session will not only address his parliamentary work and constituency interventions but will also include presentations by the Ketu North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Rev. Martin Amenaki. The MCE plans to report on progress in key sectors such as infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, and local economic development, detailing both Assembly initiatives and joint efforts with the MP's office.
The Quarterly Accountability Series has become a key engagement tool for Mr. Agbana, allowing residents to evaluate leadership performance and provide feedback on local development issues. The series began in Ehi, with the second session held in Dzodze. The upcoming Penyi event, the third in the series, will gather residents and stakeholders from all four traditional areas of the constituency.
The final session for the year is planned for the Afife Traditional Area. The event will feature interactive discussions, Q and A segments, and detailed presentations on ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at improving local livelihoods and enhancing accountability.
