DCLM Ghana Develops Strategic Plan for Nationwide Spiritual and Infrastructural Growth

Sunyani: The Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) Ghana has unveiled a five-year development plan aimed at promoting the holistic spiritual and infrastructural growth of the Deeper Life Bible Church across the nation. Pastor David Asumani Obeng, the outgoing Bono Regional Overseer of the church, revealed that the strategic plan, covering the years 2025 to 2029, aligns with the ongoing restructuring efforts to realize the vision of Pastor Dr. Edward Kofi Tumsiah, the newly appointed National Overseer of DCLM Ghana.

According to Ghana News Agency, Pastor Obeng explained that the strategic plan focuses on enhancing the numerical and spiritual strength of the church's children, youth, campus, and adult ministries. The announcement was made during a meeting held to officially introduce Pastor Samuel Abgenyafia, the newly appointed Coordinating Regional Overseer for the middle belt of the church, to its pastors and workers. The meeting saw participation from various pastors and workers from regions such as Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo, as well as other areas within the Sunyani Municipality.

Pastor Obeng emphasized that the strategic plan includes efforts to build churches in underserved communities nationwide, stressing the importance of unity and social cohesion within the church to achieve its national vision. He outlined several planned programs for the year, including the Global Workers Conference in Accra, the National Singles Seminar, and the National Workers Conference in Kumasi. Additionally, Ghana is set to host Dr. William F. Kumuyi, the Founder and General Superintendent of the DCLM, for the 'Gatekeepers' conference later this year, targeting influential leaders to join the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Obeng highlighted the importance of prayer for the success of these programs and urged the church to seek divine guidance. Pastor Agbenyafia, on his part, commended the regional church leadership and inspired them to intensify efforts in soul-winning and discipleship. He encouraged the congregation to draw inspiration from biblical figures like John, Joseph, and Daniel, emphasizing the need for spiritual growth and exemplary conduct in various aspects of life.
