Accra: Mr Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, has declared a resolute commitment to ensuring that the Convention People's Party (CPP) emerges victorious in Ghana's 2032 elections. He expressed this determination during a program organized to commemorate Ghana's first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
According to Ghana News Agency, the event was spearheaded by Mr Afelik Agoba and involved the participation of three CPP youth wings: the National Youth League, the CPP Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, and the CPP TESCHART, UG Branch. Mr Smart emphasized the CPP's vigorous return, aiming to enhance the party's appeal to the Ghanaian people.
He outlined the party's plans to rebuild confidence among voters and supporters through strategic, transparent, and accountable governance. The CPP's agenda includes fostering national pride and consciousness via visionary messaging and grassroots mobilization.
Captain Smart confidently stated, "We will reclaim political power in 2032. We must reclaim power in 2032." He reiterated the party's dedication to advancing Ghana through self-determination, industrialization, and a focus on human-centered development.
He urged the need for immediate action, "Now is the time to rise, if indeed we want to rescue this country, not with anger but with urgency. .not with fear but with faith, not with empty talk but with collective action. This is the hour of destiny, this is the moment Ghanaians must look within and say, 'enough is enough,' Ghana must rise again."
Mr Smart argued that the CPP's political resurgence is crucial for Ghana's revival and proposed several initiatives. These include establishing a strong social media presence, launching a website and an app, and instituting an annual Kwame Nkrumah lecture, among other strategies.
