Accra: Mr Bright Asamoah Brefo, the Member of Parliament for the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, in collaboration with the Non-Profit Organisation 'DayBreak Vision,' is set to organise a free eye screening and surgery event for residents in the area.
According to Ghana News Agency, the initiative is part of Mr Brefo's commitment to addressing the health needs of his constituents.
The screening program is scheduled to take place from September 4th to 12th, 2025, covering more than 50 communities within the constituency. Mr Brefo emphasized that healthcare needs are a top priority on his agenda and pledged to continue advocating for the well-being of his people to maintain their physical fitness.
He also announced that experienced medical practitioners would be available throughout the event to provide consultations, prescriptions, and treatments for any eye-related issues. Mr Brefo encouraged constituents to take advantage of the free program to address their eye health concerns.
