Apostle Samuel Asuming-Brempong Urges Vigilance Against Satan’s Devices

Tema: Apostle Samuel Asuming-Brempong, the immediate past Chairman of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI) Ghana, has advised Christians to be wary of the tactics and devices of Satan. He emphasized the importance of recognizing when Satan is at work to effectively confront and defeat him.

According to Ghana News Agency, Apostle Asuming-Brempong delivered this message during his homily at the GCCI Maranatha Assembly in Tema, focusing on the theme of the church's 40-Days Fasting and Prayers, 'Breaking the Barriers to Christlikeness, Discipleship, and Church Planting in GCCI.' He described the Christian life as a battlefield where believers must be strong in the Lord and grounded in His power.

He urged Christians to remain sober and vigilant, as instructed by the Bible, because the devil is relentless in seeking whom he may devour. Apostle Asuming-Brempong warned that the devil, aware of his own doomed fate, aims to bring others down with him by exploiting their weaknesses.

He further charged Christians to examine their family history for generational curses and to address them prayerfully. He likened this to inheriting genetic predispositions, asserting that ignoring these spiritual realities leaves individuals and their descendants vulnerable to destructive cycles.

Apostle Asuming-Brempong concluded by affirming that Christians can overcome the devil through the power of the blood of Jesus and their testimonies, urging believers to hold onto this truth to overcome their adversaries.
