The family expressed their profound sorrow and deepest grief over the loss of Ghana's esteemed man of God, who was celebrated as a technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist, affectionately known as 'Kantanka, the African Star.'According to Ghana News Agency, a statement signed by Madam Adwoa Safoa, Apostle Safo's daughter and former Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, confirmed that he passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025. The statement described Apostle Safo as a true genius and beacon of hope for many, highlighting his role as a father to the fatherless and recognizing him as a gallant son and true legend of Ghana.The statement further elaborated on Apostle Safo's unique persona, shaped by his life struggles, dreams, resilience, courage, determination, and dedication to his calling and conviction. During this time of grief, the family r equested that the general public respect their privacy and that of their loved ones.Plans for the burial and funeral arrangements will be communicated in the coming days, as mentioned in the statement.
