ZAMBIANS MPS VISITING ANGOLA TO BOOST FRIENDSHIP, CO-OPERATION

LUANDA, April 1 – A delegation of members of the National Assembly of Zambia from its National Security and External Relation Commissions is on a working visit to Angola with the aim of strengthening friendship and bilateral co-operation.

The Zambian parliamentary delegation, which arrived here Sunday, will be in the country until Thursday and are scheduled to be received by Angolan National Assembly Speaker Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos as well as by members of various working commissions of the Angolan Parliament, to exchange views.

According to a press statement issued by the Angolan Parliament, the Zambian MPs will also visit the Ministry of Assistance and Social Reintegration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Interior Ministry and Justice Ministry, where they will be briefed on their respective functions.

The programme also includes visits to historic and cultural sites of Angola, including the António Agostinho Neto Memorial and Military History Museum.
