Where is President Sata? Rights activist asks Government

A civil servants rights activist has demanded that government should tell Zambians the whereabouts of Republican President Michael Sata.

Brebner Changala says government is putting the nation under security risks by putting the whereabouts of the president under a veil.

He says the president is not an ordinary citizen who will not raise concern when his whereabouts are  kept hidden from the people.

Changala says the rumor that the president is in India for treatment should be put to rest by government clarifying the matter.

On Thursday United Party for National Development UPND president Haikande Hichilema said it was morally and politically incorrect for government to keep the whereabouts of the president hidden.

President Sata is reported to have left Ethiopia on Tuesday after attending the African Union meeting but his whereabouts are still unknown.
