We are obliged to win, no matter how tough says Renard

Chipolopolo trainer Herve Renard says his team is motivated to win Friday’s FIFA World Cup Qualifier in Kumasi stressing that they are “obligated to beat the Black Stars” and cannot afford any other result.
Speaking to fazfootball.com at the team’s hotel on the outskirts of Kumasi, Renard said: “Its going to be very tough because Ghana has got many good players. But I have a team that is well motivated. We’re obligated to win here and we will fight every second from the start to finish.”
“If we were not sure of ourselves and what we can do, we wouldn’t have come here. We believe in ourselves and it doesn’t matter that we are playing in Kumasi or if we were going to play in Accra, our task is to win,” he said.
Zambia could not train at the match venue on Thursday afternoon Рthe Baba Yara stadium  Рas the authorities locked the team bus outside and shut down the stadium lights alleging that Chipolopolo went to the arena at the wrong time.
Renard, who got his lads out for a work-out in the stadium parking area brushed aside the impact of not training at the match venue saying that “We will do our best. This is football and we have to fight for ourselves on the pitch.”
The match kicks off at 1600GMT or 1800 CAT/Zambian Time.
