UPND plans to expel Sinjembela, Kalabo MPs after winning Lukulu

After winning the Lukulu West by-election UPND plans to expel its members of parliament for Sinjembela and Kalabo Central who have accepted deputy ministerial positions in the government .

And an 85-year-old former long-term UNIP councillor for Mitete ward, Michael Kayombo, says MMD did absolutely nothing for the people of the area but that President Michael Sata had scored within a short time.

Meanwhile, Lukulu district UPND youth chairperson Martin Lemba says the people are thankful to President Sata for creating Mitete district.

UPND sources told The Post in Mitete that the Lukulu West by-election was a litmus test and now that their candidate, Misheck Mutelo, had won the poll with a landslide, it was time to deal with Kalabo Central’s Chinga Miyutu and Sinjembela’s Poniso Njeulu following their acceptance of deputy ministerial positions in the government.
