Tullow Ghana has commissioned a new ultramodern classroom block for the Shama Senior High School in the Western Region.The 10-unit classroom block accommodates more than 200 students.The Director of Corporate Affairs at Tullow Ghana, Madam Cynthia Lumor said over the years Tullow made a $10 million investment to build school blocks to support education delivery.She said, shared prosperity remained the central philosophy of the company.Ms Lumor urged the students to take their studies seriously and cautioned the school authority to maintain the edifice.The Headmistress of Shama senior High School (SHASS) Madam Theresa Dickson expressed gratitude to Tullow Ghana for the edifice which would ease congestion among students.The Acting President of Shama traditional council, Nana Kwamena Wieno II applauded Tullow Ghana for the edifice and urged the students and managements of the school to make good use of the facility.Source: Ghana News Agency
