Wynter Kabimba has charged that what the Patriotic Front cadres are doing by protesting demanding for his removal as Secretary General is the highest order of indiscipline. ever witnessed in the history of Zambia.

Reacting to protests by PF cadres this morning, September 24, 2013 in the main streets of Lusaka central business district, Kabimba vowed that he will not resign his position as demanded by the PF cadres who were lead by appointed Lusaka District Chairperson Robert Chikwelete.

“I will not go there way, I was not appointed from the streets. I have letters of appointments for both position I occupy,” said Kabimba who is also Minister of Justice.

Kabimba said he will only resign if the appointing authority, President Michael Sata asks him to do so. He has urged the cadres to go to President Sata who appointed him rather than exhibiting

indiscipline and disturbing business in the streets.

He said the PF cadres were disturbing people from going about their business because of the protests. He said the behavior of the PF cadres was unacceptable and must be condemned by all well meaning Zambians.

Kabimba said he was Justice Minister and PF General Secretary to serve the party and the country.

“ I am here to serve the people of Zambia in both position,” he said.

The PF staged a protest match through the main streets of Lusaka’s Central district demanding that they will not rest until Kabimba steeps down as Secretary General. The cadres who disturbed the flow of traffic said they feel insulted by Kabimba’s remarks that they are street kids. The cadres say they have now taken to the street where they belong to show him the way out.
