South Africa: Ethekwini Inner South Cluster Visit St Monica’s Home for Christmas

Ethekwini Inner South Cluster hosted a Christmas Party for the children of St Monica’s Home in Brighton Beach. The Cluster, together with the High Noon Rotary Club, as well as various businesses hosted a successful event. The children at the home, together with their caregivers were treated to a scrumptious lunch from Wimpy sponsored by Arena Trimmers, as well as lunch boxes and donuts from Bakers SA. The children were also given Christmas presents to brighten up their festive season, the Christmas presents were sponsored by the staff of Ethekwini Inner South Cluster and Mr Rabin Heera of the High Noon Rotary Club. A special thank you to Ash Craft Interiors for their sponsorship of sweet treats for the children.

Ethekwini Inner South Cluster Communications Officer, Priya Nunkumar thanked St Monica’s Home for welcoming the Cluster on Tuesday with big smiles and open arms. “Members of the Cluster interacted with the children of the home, getting to know some of the children at the St Monica’s Home,” she said.

Ethekwini Inner South Cluster Commander, Major General Nunkumar expressed a heartfelt thanks to all the members of the Cluster and all the sponsorships who made the Christmas Party at St Monica’s Home a successful one. “Thank you to all who made the Christmas Party a huge success, it is heart-warming to know that the children of St Monica’s Home were left with big smiles after our visit,” he said.
