Soccer fans protest over the sidelining of Nkana star

Soccer fans have continued to protest over the continued sidelining of Nkana football club star player Reynold ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba in the national soccer team.
Kampamba on Wednesday scored for his club as Nkana beat the Zambia national soccer team in friendly played at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe. Kampamba the 2012 super league scorer is not in good terms with national team coach, Herve Renard and has been sidelined by the later in international games.
Many fans expressed dissatisfaction that the coach is not recalling the Nkana player despite him enjoying the best of form for his club who are also MTN FAZ Super League leaders. He has already scored five goals this season Nkana and is the second top scorer in the league.
Despite his exploits, the player has been snubbed by the coach including when assembling team for local based players.
Zambia Sports Fans Association,president Peter Makembo feels that Renard has a grudge against the player who is considered Keegan Mumba’s boy. Makembo said also complained that this is kiling the game in zanbia and asked Renad to consider calling the boy.
Zambia national team lost 2-1 to Nkana in a friendly game ahead of the World Cup qualifier game with Lesotho to be played next month.
Christopher Munthali was the other scorer for Nkana while Emmanuel Mayuka scored on the spot for Zambia.
