Sky FM owner says Malambo’s death is a big loss

Sky FM Managing Director Geoffrey Hambulo has described the death of his Station Manager and Radio Presenter Brian Deeds Malambo as a big loss to his organisation.
Mr. Hambulo disclosed that the late Mr. Malambo was a journalist who helped in the running and transformation of the journalism industry in the region and would be surely be missed by many people.
Hambulo stated that a dark cloud had once again covered the southern region as the media fraternity has been robbed of a very hard working and a smart young talented journalist.
And the media fraternity in the Southern Province has said they will miss the late Brian Malambo as he was not just a workmate but a friend and courageous person who stood for what he believes in.
And SKY FM Head Of Marketing Norman Kapata says he is still deeply shocked and saddened by the death of Brian Malambo who died on Sunday after a short illness.
Mr. Kapata disclosed that Mr. Malambo was a skilful and a creative professional journalist whose devotion and contribution to SKY FM Radio and the media fraternity in the country is enormous.
Mr. Kapata stated that Mr. Malambo has left behind a legacy of passionate, patriotic, love and professional service to SKY FM radio and the nation at large of which other journalists in the country should be able to emulate.
The late Mr. Malambo died on Sunday 21 April, 2013 at Monze General Hospital after a short illness and was put to rest in Magoye at Malota farm on Wednesday 24 April, 2013.
