Siandenge warns politicians against confusion in Lukulu

WESTERN Province police commissioner Fanwell Siandenge says the law will not spare any politician causing confusion ahead of the April 23 Lukulu West by-election.

Siandenge said in an interview from Mitete in Lukulu yesterday that the police command had provided sufficient boats to the Western Province division to enable it police the electoral campaigns in the flooded and remote locations of the constituency.

“So far so good, we have met with both parties, that is the UPND and PF campaign managers; Mr Kenneth Namutulo for PF and Hon. Charles Kakoma for UPND. The campaigns are going smoothly without any problems,” Siandenge said. “But those that will initiate problems and those that will be found wanting, the law will take its course. We shall not spare anyone causing problems.”

He said the people that were likely to cause problems in the campaign were outsiders because Lukulu West was a small constituency and its residents knew each other and were even related.
