Sata Swaps Copperbelt and Lusaka Police Chiefs

Copperbelt Police Commissioner Mary Tembo has been swapped with her Lusaka counterpart Joyce Kasosa in the same capacity for reasons only President Michael Sata that best suit his operations in the enhanced infiltration of security personnel to serve the ruling Patriotic Front’s interest.

President Sata became uncomfortable with reports that Alliance for a Better Zambia leader Father Frank Bwalya was allowed to hold public meetings on the Copperbelt and fears Mary Tembo could have been compromised or had become sympathetic to the opposition and therefore wants her in Lusaka under the close check of the Inspector General Stella Libongani and her deputy Dr Solomon Jere.

President Sata was not happy that Mary Tembo also allowed opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema to tour the popular Chisokone market, which is a key political constituency in Kitwe, without facing the music of the police under the pretext he did not have a permit for the meeting.
