Sata attends burial ceremony in Ndola

Zambia’s president Michael Sata is attending the burial ceremony in Ndola where he has told the mourners of the Chibombo accident victims  to accept the death of over 5o people as Gods plan.

Speaking during the Church service at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in   today February 11 2013, Sata urged the bereaved families to be strong and look to God for the best answers.

The president said that they where no answers to questions arisen to the carnage.

The Funeral procession of 23 of the accident victims is currently underway in Ndola.

Earlier, post master, Macpherson Chanda said the company is horrified of the unfolding of the accident.

Chanda assured however that ZAMPOST is with the bereaved families and will offer any assistance that is necessary.

The bodies will be put to rest at Misengo cemetery in Ndola.

Over 50 people died when a ZAMPOST Bus which was coming from Ndola to Lusaka collided with a truck which was coming from Lusaka going north.
