Sata arrives in India for medical treatment

President Michael Sata has proceeded to India for his cancer and heart treatment after spending a day in UK at a clinic owned by a prominent businessman.

A source within State House has revealed to the Watchdog that President Sata arrived in India yesterday afternoon for medical treatment on journey that was meant to be a secret after attending the African Union Summit in Addis Abbaba.

The Watchdog yesterday reported that the Zambian leader was in UK for treatment and might proceed to India depending on the condition.

In March last year, president Sata under went treatment at India’s Samved Hospital situated in Navrangpura area.

As was the case last year, government officials kept the trip secret until it was exposed by the ZambianWatchdog and the Indian media.

Government sources lied to the Zambian public that Mr. Sata was in India on a business mission to woe Indian investors who have so far not come to Zambia.
