Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has listed down what he thinks he has achieved for his constituency which is Lusaka since ascending to power in 2011.

Below is that Sampa who is also Deputy Minister of Commerce wrote:

Dear Matero Residents: here is an appraisal of what I think we have achieved together:

1. Tarred most major Roads

2. Bought a Brand new Ambulance

3. Acquired and launched a garbage collection Tractor

4. Stopped illegal construction of houses inside Chingwere & Chunga cemeteries

5. Fumigated all clinics for bedbugs

6. Graded most inner roads

7. Refurbished the public library (wifi enabled)

8. Refurbished Matero Stadium to FIFA standards

9. Constructed and launched the Samuel Miyanda Basketball court

10. Constructed and launched the Shadreck and Barlastone Bridges

11. Acquired 10 Computers for Matero Boys Secondary School

12. Constructed Houses for Mulongoti Police Station

13. Minimized road congestion in Industrial area by clamping wrongly parked Trucks.

17. Acquired mini cars to reach out and monitor projects

18. Acquired and utilised a mobile water bowser for emergencies

19. Father Christmas brought presents for underprivileged kids.

20. Above all, in 2013 we had enhanced phone, Facebook and personal interaction.

We could have done better but I am Optimistic we will have milestone developments in 2014 that will reach out and touch you all
