Accept Poll Results, Zimbabweans Told

Southern African Centre for Constructive Resolution of Dispute (SACCORD) has urged Zimbabweans to accept the results of Wednesday July 3, 2013 elections.

SACCORD Excecutive Director, Boniface Chembe urged parties to take leaf from Zambia and accept the election result like the former ruling party, MMD did to concede defeat in the September 2011 election to the opposition PF.

Chembe said Zimbabweans should accept the will of the parties where the loser will graciously accept the results. The SACCORD Executive Director said this ahead of Wednesday election in the Southern African neighbour.

Zimbabwe goes to the polls today in the elections that will seek to end the power sharing struggle between rival parties of President Mugabe and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai who have been in power deal since the last disputed election.
